Saint

Everyone has an opinion on Saint. He's a polarizing figure across vellum. They're a radical, and come across as a paranoid misanthrope most of the time. But they're also a talented artist, and incredibly creative and intelligent. He has a lot of heart, and is willing to go places most won't.

Click

Click isn't the smartest person in the world, but he more than makes up for it with his open heart and kindness. He moved to Vellum recently, abd is still adjusting to life in the city of dust. Despite being pretty new in town, he has made a lot of friends. He slotted right into life in vellum, a piece of the puzzle no one new was missing.

Echo

Despite being a med school drop out, Echo is easily considered one of the coolest guys in town. The only thing they care about more than their motorcycle is their friends and partner. Echo has been through a lot, and often comes across as harsher than they intend, but their care and loyalty to their friends is evident.

Fret

Fret is Saint's best friend, and one of the few people to know them well and still want them around. She is a talented musician, an artist, and an enigma to most. His mysterious nature is not unusual in Vellum, but his unfriendliness makes him a bit of an outsider.

Dust

Dust loves to cook, make jewelry, and write. They spend most of their time at home, and prefer to stay out of trouble and let the chips fall where they may. She enjoys sewing and mending, and a number of other fiber arts which occupy their mind.

Detective Jay Smith

Jay Smith is a detective at the reasin police department. He tries to be one of the good cops. He tries to make a positive difference. He tries to accept that the ends will justify the menas, that what he does will have a positive affect on the greater good, that one day, it will all be worth it. Smith spends more time trying to justify his actions than thinking deeply about if what he's trying to do is right in the first place.
